The Symposium on Advanced Wound Care Spring | WHS is coming up on April 8 -12 and our Stepan team cannot wait to see you there!
This year, Stepan’s Kelly Strout, Research Associate – BioSolutions, will be presenting a poster on "Polyquaternium-1 and Rhamnolipids for Biofilm Control and Wound Healing." This poster will offer a glimpse into Stepan’s ongoing research into rhamnolipid-based technologies for advanced wound care. Attendees will get the opportunity to hear more about how these biologically derived actives may accelerate the healing process, address biofilm formation and infection, and improve tissue repair, offering a novel approach to managing chronic wounds.
The research being presented explores the potential of rhamnolipids to enhance closure rates and support better patient outcomes in challenging wound types such as diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers. By leveraging their unique bioactive properties, including biofilm disruption, antimicrobial activity and modulation of the wound microenvironment, this research aims to inform next-generation strategies for improving clinical efficacy and reducing complications in chronic wound management.
Join Stepan at Poster P97 and throughout the show to connect on how we can help shape the future of wound healing science together.
