The EcoVadis assessment is a comprehensive evaluation platform that measures the sustainability performance of companies worldwide. It provides a detailed analysis of a company's commitments and performance, helping organizations identify areas for improvement and drive progress toward best practices. In 2024, EcoVadis introduced a new badge and medal framework, making the ranking even more competitive.
At Stepan, we believe this strong performance in the EcoVadis assessment is a testament to our ongoing efforts to enhance our sustainability practices. We have seen steady upward improvements over the years, actively utilizing the EcoVadis assessment to identify areas for improvement and drive progress. In 2026, specifically, we improved our score on the Sustainable procurement pillar, reflecting our efforts to expand our Supplier engagement program, Partner for Sustainable Supply (PaSS), on ESG topics.
As Stepan continues to drive progress toward our sustainability goals and integrate robust ESG practices, we will continue leveraging the insights gained from the EcoVadis assessments and resources.
